A Review, Bourgois Volumizer Mascara

Hey Guys,

Just thought I'd let you know my thoughts on the above mentioned mascara, This is one of my favs.
It has a 1 step 2 step system, Which basically means the first step has less product on the brush and the second step has a tonne.

It definitely volumises my lashes. Makes them thicker also. It comes off easy enough with make up remover, although I'd like if it was a little easier.

All in all I like it and would get it again.

A Review, Gosh Intense Lip Colour in 303

Hey guys, Thought I'd do a quick review on this baby,

You'll have to excuse the pictures I took them with my htc and the light above my desk just makes pictures awful.

This lip gloss is so cool because of many things but here are the top reasons.

It has a mirror on the side
There is a good amount of product in the tube
It has a light in the cap
The colour is quite opaque
It is super creamy doesn't feel anything like most glosses
Price is reasonable €11.99

Verdict: This was actually my friends that I tried, So I am definitely going to purchase it. The colour is just lovely.

A Review Inglot Eyeshadows and the Freedom Palette

Hey Ladies, I thought I'd put up some swatches of the Inglot Freedom Palette Shadows.
First of all a word or too on the Freedom Palette themselves, They are Awesome, There are different sizes and shapes. You can get the pans in Circular (Similar to MAC) of Square (Larger amount of product)

You can check out there website here for Ireland and here the United States.

The shadows are really pigmented, I mean it is ridiculous they are similar to the Stila pans I got just after Christmas.

They have a range of different finishes too.

When I made my trip to Inglot I made the mistake of having money with me, Wallet not impressed.
I got 2 5pan circular palettes at €22.00 each pretty reasonable based on their quality being amazing.

So here are the pictures........

I prefer matte shadows for during the day when I'm at work when I'm not at work anything goes lol. Shimmer, Sparkle, Ridiculously bright colours I don't care for work I mute them quite a bit.

The palette is quite slimline and can fit into my bag with ease.

If you are wondering why there are only 7 swatches, it is because Inglot is so awesome you can get other things for the palette as well.

So I also got an Eyebrow powder to match my eyebrows, I usually wear MAC Show stopper but I find it is a bit dark for during the day. This Inglot one is perfect.

A concealer, Now they have cool toned and warm toned ones which is great. I am warm toned an NW15, so I got the lightest warm toned one it is quite creamy.

And a Warm light pink lipstick .

It is so cool that you can have these different items in the one palette. They also blend really well.

I love these. Love Love Love.

Thank for stopping by.

A Review. Gosh Eyeshadow Trio in Purple Dream

So I got this trio on my lunch break yesterday. Thought I'd try this out and see what it was like.

So on to the pictures......

From Left to Right Swatches no flash, Swatches with Flash, How the trio looks.

Top Left Light swatch no Base, Swatches with Flash on Neutral Base, Top Right Swatch with no Flash,
Bottom Left Swatch with Flash on a Dark Base, Bottom Right Swatch no Flash on a Dark Base.

Dark Base used Elf Studio Cream Eyeliner in Gunmetal
Neutral Base used Urban Decays Primer Potion

Thoughts: I like these, In the trio they look really chunky sparkle wise but they are definitely more shimmery than anything else, They are really complimentary to Green Eyes.

The dark purple is more blue than purple but is still very nice.

Thanks for stopping by.

A Review, Elf Studio Cream Eyeliner in Gunmetal.

Hey guys, Just a quick review on this cream eye liner by Elf.
I love anything that is Gunmetal colour. This eyeliner is really creamy and as you can see from the picture is nice but not a very dark eyeliner colour. Great for eyeliner for the daytime.

I actually prefer this as a dark base instead especially for really shimmery shadows they stay put for ages.
If I ever manage to use the whole tub of this because there is a lot for gel eyeliner, I will repurchase.

Thanks for stopping by!

A Review. Elf Essentials Natural Radiance Blushers

I got these in my most recent Elf order, I've tried them a few times and I have to say I quite like them and they are super cheap.

From Left to Right Shy and Glow.

From Left to Right Shy and Glow.

I always tend to lend more to Glow it just seems to suit my skin tone, I am NW15 from Mac. Very pale Irish skin. They also blend really well. The packaging can be a little fiddley but I don't mind that.
It is very sleek so you can fit it pretty much anywhere.
I can definitely see myself getting another one of these when this runs out.
@€1.70/£1.50/$1.00 you can't go wrong.

A Review, Bourjois D'ombres À Paupières in 05 Vintage Rose.

Hey Ladies, I got this trio at a trade show a few weeks back and didn't really try until now, As well I bought all around myself. I thought the colours looked nice and figured what the hell.

The colours are nice but you really have to pack the colour on. I used a base and I still had to layer and layer it. A base is a must for these.

It is however small enough that you could carry it around with you in a make up bag without needing to bring bigger palettes or individual pots.

On to the pictures......

These were really packed on with my finger for this level of colour.
Same with these, I really piled it on.

I will use this probably here and there but I wouldn't buy it again.

Thanks for stopping by.

A review: OPI Burlesque Little Teasers Collection

I'm a real sucker for these mini sets. It is a great way to try out some colours without shelling out for a full size bottle, Which if you live in Ireland can be like €13.

I love the quality of the OPI Polishes, (my collection is mostly OPI now). The colours are beautiful and the stay on for ages.

This collection was given to me for Christmas from the Boyfriends sister and I love it. Ali's big break is my favourite, mostly as it is my boyfriends least favourite. tee hee.

On to the pictures.......

From Left to Right: Ali's big break, The show must go on, Take the stage and Rising star.
This is two coats of each. However when I wear Ali's big break or the show must go on I usually put on two coats.

Thanks for stopping by.

A Review: Elf Essentials Custom Eye Shadow

Hey ladies,

I got these single eye shadows from Elf and thought I'd review them for you.
They are in 26mm pans so they will fit into a Mac Eyeshadow palette.
You can get small 4 pan palettes from the website that you can put custom blushes and lip pans into too.
The quality is so good on these, the colour payoff is strong and they are really cheap €1.70/£1.50/$1.00.
I have four, here are the swatches.

Ivory is a really good highlight and inner eye corner colour.
The only small downside to these is fallout and that Elf don't have more colours in them!!!

A review, OPI Mini Hong Kong Collection.

I got this while I was at the Irish Beauty Show 2011 a few weeks back.

I love love love OPI, So when I walked into the show and saw a massive OPI stand I nearly melted.

An hour later and a sad wallet, I had picked up this mini set and 8 full size bottles.

The quality of these is just outstanding. The smell of polish isn't as offensive as most drugstore polishes and they last for ages.

On to the swatches..........

From left to right, RadiDry top coat, Red my Fortune Cookie, Suzi says Feng Shui and Dim Sum Plum

From Left to Right, Red my Fortune Cookie, Suzi says Feng Shui and Dim Sum Plum.

These minis are great for trying out some colours before you buy a full size bottle, as here in Ireland they are quite expensive for polish. Approx. €13.00.
The mini sets range from around €13.00 to €17.00 depending on where you get them.

Thanks for stopping by.

A review. E.l.f Cosmetics Contouring Blush and Bronzing Duo

  Just a quick review,

I read online and heard in some YouTube videos that this duo was a good dupe for NARS Orgasm and Laguna.

Now I have never tried either of those but I can say this, I really like this duo. The bronzer is a little dark for me during the day unless you put it on super lightly (I'm Mac nw15) But the blush is perfect for anytime.

It is a really nice peach pink with little gold reflects.

It is a very soft powder not chalky at all. I just wish there were more duos to choose from.

On to the pictures......

The packaging is also quite nice. Sleek even. It is great quality and it was only €4.00/£3.50/$3.00.
It's a steal!!

A review. Urban Decay Book of Shadows Volume III, I love NYC.

Hey Ladies,

I got this for Christmas and when I saw it I was delighted because I was lusting after it for months,

The packaging is super nice. (I'm a sucker for packaging)

It comes with 16 shadows, A mini 24/7 Glide on Eye liner in Zero (Black) and Ransom (Lilac-Purple) and a mini Eyeshadow primer potion.

The primer potion is amazing, When I use it my eye shadows stay on all day.

The 24/7 liners are so creamy and pigmented, they go on so easy so no tugging on the skin around your eye which is always a plus, However I did have to re-apply a few times more than I normally have to with my regular eyeliner. But they are great for doing colour pop's.

The eyeshadows have amazing colour payoff though some have a lot of glitter which falls out and is a bit of a nightmare especially during the day when you wander around with a mad glittery face. lol.

If you are careful though these eyeshadows look great and blend really well.

On to the pictures......

Without flash, top row Perversion, Uzi, Loaded and Kush
Bottom Row, *MCRA, Last call, Rock star and Money

With flash, top row Perversion, Uzi, Loaded and Kush

Bottom row, Radium, Snatch, Suspect, Psychedelic Sister.

With Flash, Top row, Haight, Maui Wowie, Smog and Bordello.
Bottom row, Radium, Snatch, Suspect, Psychedelic Sister.

All in all I like this palette, even if the fallout drives me mad, The colour payoff and blend-ability more than makes up for it.

It is a bit bulky though, You couldn't travel with them unless you De-potted them, Which I have considered doing but I don't want to wreck the packaging!
